Our Mission Statement
St. Joseph Catholic Church, an historic parish with deep roots in the city of Cohoes, NY, has a mission to sustain, enhance and build upon the faith and traditions of our ancestors to become an hospitable and nurturing community that encourages vitality and growth in holiness for all through faith formation at every stage of life, and through service, outreach, and pastoral care for those in need.
We undertake the pursuit of this mission with a solid foundation in Sacred Scripture, individual and shared prayer, and liturgical worship, and in a spirit of good stewardship, with collaborative cooperation with our parish administrative leaders and with the Diocese of Albany.
